A Christmas Festival of Lights
It might be cliché, but we really do think Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year—especially at our Hope Healing Homes! This year did not disappoint. (And yes, technically it was last year.) There was no shortage of laughter and silliness and just a whole lot of Christmas cheer!
Our amazing nurses and nannies once again went above and beyond to give the children a joyful and festive Christmas to remember. Their love and dedication to the kids is evident all year long, and they really outdo themselves when the holidays come around.
With loads of excitement and so much to do, everyone was able to get in on the fun in one way or another. Some of the kids had a blast making Christmas crafts and decorating cookies they had helped to cut out. Others were content to show off their darling Christmas pajamas and other festive outfits. We promise you that you have never seen any cuter pint-sized Santas or Mrs. Santas anywhere!
You’ll be able to find a good many photos of the festivities on our social media, but for this post, we wanted to share a few pictures of the children playing with or among the holiday lights that were hung in the Healing Homes. In some cases, they were “hung” on the kiddos themselves! The fun they had is evidenced by the joy on their faces. Others, a bit unsure about the whole thing, were nonetheless quite intrigued and maybe even a little mesmerized by the dazzling strands of tiny, sparkling lights!
We hope you’ll enjoy the smiles and the wonder in the photo galleries above and below.
