While it is not uncommon for our children to be adopted, unfortunately, we are not personally allowed to be involved in the adoption process of our kids. Application and processing can only be done by the China Center for Children’s Welfare and Adoption (CCCWA) in Beijing via an agency in your home country. We are not privy to any information, including when the child’s dossiers go to CCCWA, which agency/country the dossiers are sent to, or to whom the children are matched, until after the adoption process is completed.
