Enjoys: Singing, dancing, and snuggling with his nanny
Chatwin came to us when he was just one month old in 2020. During the trying times of the pandemic, this sweet little bundle brought so much joy to the caretakers and other children. Over the past few years, we have watched him grow into a precocious, friendly, and loving 3-year-old.
Chatwin befriends others quickly and has formed close bonds with the children he is growing up with at his Hope Healing Home. He regularly attends a playgroup with several of the other kids and he always enjoys his time there! He likes to find toys and make up stories with them.
This winter Chatwin was introduced to snow and did not enjoy it as much as some of his friends. He didn’t mind jumping around in it if someone held his hand, but he felt nervous about the ice and walked very cautiously to avoid any falls!
However, our little superstar does not show the same timidness when it comes to performing on solid ground! He is often showing off his singing and dancing talents to anyone who welcomes it. Whenever he hears a new song, he wants to learn it quickly so he can sing it for others.
Chatwin loves his nannies and will snuggle up with them to be held or rocked, especially when he is feeling under the weather. This year he experienced a temporary illness that brought his energy down, but his nannies knew all the right tricks to care for him until he recovered.
Chatwin is a resilient boy with admirable strength. He was born with a gastrointestinal condition, and we are thankful that he was brought under our roof to help him receive the care that he needs.
