Meet our newest child-in-the-spotlight, Esmond!
This cutie is often referred to as a “cuddle bug.” He is quick to express love to his caregivers by slowly sneaking up behind them and hugging them tightly or laying his head on their backs. We think this is just so precious and shows his beautiful soul.
Esmond is also quite an entertaining little guy, pulling lots of silly facial expressions to make his nurses laugh when they give him checkups!
In his room, he enjoys tumbling around on the playmat with his friend Anton or playing with toys with Roderick. His go-to foods are cereal, noodles, and milk, but cakes and bread are quickly becoming new favorites!
Esmond was born in 2020 with Down syndrome and congenital heart disease. He’s been making great strides since being in our care where we have seen him really start to blossom. He attends physical therapy every afternoon with Anton, and we are so proud of the determination and strength he’s shown.
Esmond may have had difficult beginnings in this world, and though his path might not always be easy, we are confident that there are so many people who are cheering him on and love him so. Would you partner with us in prayer and support by sharing his story?
