Happy Chinese New Year
As you’re likely aware, we are currently sitting in a faith-building position with the finances of New Hope Foundation and are also closely observing the viral outbreak in China. Even with these challenges, we still want to take opportunities to ensure our children are being loved and cared for, and celebrating special occasions is one way in which we can do so.
In that light, we’ve been busy celebrating Chinese New Year as the Year of the Rat has just scampered in! Everywhere you look—inside and out—there are beautiful decorations of red and gold, and lots of cute little mice hanging all over the place. Check out our adorable wee ones dressed in traditional clothes in honor of what the Chinese call “this most auspicious occasion.” We’ve thrown in some of our own special trimmings, too!
